Welcome to the SDCH web page!
San Diego Christian Homeschools is an organization of bible believing families who home school our children. We gather together for mutual support and encouragement, group events, friendship, and socialization. SDCH supports and encourages all methods of homeschooling. Whether you use an ISP (now called a PSP) a charter school, a private school, file independently or don’t file at all, we welcome you to join us.
SDCH is a support group, a network, a fellowship, a resource and a variety of valuable tools and experience that exists to bless your family while you are called to home educate your children.

In a unanimous decision, the California Court of Appeal for the Second Appellate District today ruled that “California statutes permit home schooling as a species of private school education.”

Park Days
Our primary get-togethers are Park Days, which meet on the second Friday
of each school month at 2:00pm. Park Days are a great time to get out
and get some exercise, sign up for classes, field trips and
events, and just meet up with other homeschool families and have some fun.
Sometimes there are special guest speakers too, so come by and check it
out. (click here for more information)
P.E. Program
San Diego Christian Homeschools offers a P.E. program that includes the
Presidential Fitness Challenge and the Adventure Trails Program by Brain Highways.
Children will experience and be tested
in a wide range of fitness activities including hog-tying, chicken chasing,
grouse hunting and the ever-popular hop-on-one-foot-and-howl-like-a-monkey
event...
...and yes, all the usual stuff too.

We will incorporate three fun and effective aspects of physical education into our P.E. program:
- The Presidential Fitness Program
- Brain Highway’s Adventure Trails Program, and
- Various sporting games and traditional playground activities

In addition to our P.E. Days, there will be plenty of encouragement and incentives for our kids to do
some active things on their own at home. For example, each month we will
offer a Physical Activity Log for the kids to use at home so that they
can work on being more physically active every day.
Let your children know that each activity will count toward their
Physical Education requirements for the State of California. Please
click the links of each of the three different aspects of our program
to learn more about them.
