Schedule of Monthly and Annual Activities
SDCH Park Days (monthly):
- On the 1st Friday of each school-month (September through May) at Harry Griffen Park, La Mesa (East Park Day)
- On the 2nd Friday of each school month (September through May) at Nobel Athletic Field, San Diego (Central Park Day)
- On the 3rd Friday of each school month (September through May, except Dec) at Rancho Bernardo Community Park (North Park Day)
- On the 4th Friday of each school month (September through May, except Nov and Dec) at NTC Liberty Station Park, San Diego (Point Loma Park Day)
Official SDCH Board Meetings (quarterly):
- Board meetings will be held quarterly on the 2nd Tuesdays in:
- August
- November
- February
- May (Election)
SDCH Planning Meetings (monthly, except when there is a Board Meeting):
- Planning Meetings will be held on the 2nd Tuesdays in:
- July
- September
- October
- December
- January
- March
- April
- June (tentative)
Special Events (annual):
- Back-To-School Party is usually held on a Saturday in late August.
- Christmas Party is usually held on a Saturday in early December.
- Valentine Exchange is usually held at East Park Day in February.
- Easter Celebration is usually held at East Park Day in March or April.
- End-of-Year Party is usually held on a Saturday in mid June.
Birthday Parties (monthly):
- In school months there will be a celebration at Central Park Day (the 2nd Friday of the month) for kids with birthdays that month.
- In summer months (June, July, August) there will be celebrations at Pool Days for kids who have birthdays those months.
Field Trips and other activities:
- SDCH does several other monthly and annual activities and events (Field Trips, Mom’s Nights Out, Camping, Men’s Nights, Homeschoool Info Events, Help Nights, Fund-raisers, Dog Days, etc.) that will be held on various days and times throughout the school year. Fiscal Year:
- The SDCH Fiscal Year, as well as annual membership in SDCH, always runs from July 1 through June 30.
